Step aside Trader Joe’s, Lidl is coming to the Lower East Side with a grand opening on Friday, August 1st, 2025!
The LES Lidl will be the sixth NYC location, following the opening of two Brooklyn stores, one in the Bronx and two others in Queens.

Customers will be able to find it at 408 Grand Street, open daily from 8am to 9pm.
The low-cost grocery store, offering private label picks, global imports, and everyday name brands, is known for new item drops every Monday, freshly baked breads and pastries (like their iconic $0.49 croissants), and refunds or replacements on items if shoppers don’t love the product.
You can stay up to date on the grocery store’s weekly savings and deals on the Lidl website.
