Brooklynites can now save big on groceries as affordable German grocery store, Lidl, announces a brand new location opening in Brooklyn’s Gateway Center at 459 Gateway Drive on Wednesday, January 29th.
The grand opening will kick off with a special ribbon cutting beginning at 7:40am. Early shoppers can stay warm with a cup of coffee and a freshly baked croissant ahead of the celebration. Plus, the first 100 customers will receive gift cards ranging from $5-$100.
If you’re not an early riser, customers will be welcome to shop at the new location initially between 8am to 9pm daily.
Every week brings new merchandise to the low-cost grocery store, including limited-time offers. The store’s easy-to-navigate layout ensures a seamless shopper experience, on top of its unbeatable prices.
American shoppers have been able to explore the affordable aisles of Lidl since it’s U.S. expansion in 2017. There are now nearly 200 store locations across the country.
Lidl’s expansion continues beyond the Gateway Center, with another grand opening coming to Paramus, New Jersey on February 12th.
