Although 99 Ranch opened its first New York State location back in 2022, the city’s first store will open up in Queens, New York, as stated by The Real Deal.
NYC’s first 99 Ranch will open at 37-11 Main Street in Flushing. Kinetic Real Estate Group outlines that the massive supermarket will stretch 22,000 square feet of aisles stocked with pan-Asian groceries, in addition to a dining area and food stalls!

99 Ranch was founded in 1984 in Westminster, California. There are currently more than 60 stores throughout 11 states, making it the biggest Asian supermarket in the country. Shoppers can find 99 Ranch in California, Arizona, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Nevada, Washington, Texas, Oregon and Virginia.
Flushing is home to the largest Asian diaspora in NYC, so it’s no surprise there’s an abundance of Asian grocery stores in the neighborhood, from Jmart to H Mart, Hanyang Mart to Zhong US supermarket and more. Even with so many options, 99 Ranch will be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

The supermarket’s food hall will be known as Eat Up, featuring 22 food stalls and 158 seats for its 6,880 square foot dining area.
As of now, there is no official opening date. However, on the grand opening of the state’s initial store, the first 100 customers received a goodie bag—and we can only hope the city debut runs a similar promotion.
