1. Othello
Shakespeare’s famed tale of the noble Moor of Venice and his deceitful lieutenant will hit the stage this spring, and the cast is top-notch: Denzel Washington in the titular role and Jake Gyllenhaal as lago. Undoubtedly, it’ll be an excellent addition to the Midtown theater lineup.

2. Stranger Things: The First Shadow
Theater-goers will get a taste of Hawkins, Indiana, in 1959 through the eyes of Henry Creel a.k.a. Vecna (played by Louis McCartney) in this highly-anticipated Stranger Things prequel. If you’re new to the Netflix series, not to worry — the play is perfect for diehard fans of the Upside Down and newbies alike.

3. Heathers The Musical
While details are still under wraps, theater-goers learned in fall 2024 that the beloved ’80s cult classic would return to the stage in 2025 — this time, on Broadway — with music, lyrics and book by Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy. Stay tuned for more details.
4. BOOP! The Musical
Boop-oop-a-doop! Adorable icon Betty Boop is taking the stage, but she wants a day off from her hectic show biz lifestyle. Well, once she experiences the glam and color of NYC, things begin to change.
