Broadway has been buzzing, and now the 2025 TONY Award nominations have dropped.
It’s been a star-studded year on the Great White Way, courtesy of George Clooney’s Good Night, And Good Luck and Jake Gyllenhaal and Denzel Washington’s modernized retelling of Othello — both of which broke records at the box office.
It’s also been an adventurous year with the arrival of Stranger Things: The Last Shadow and a nostalgia revery with Mama Mia returning this summer.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. See what else has been happening on the Great White Way with the Tony Award nominations below.
Sarah Paulson (Appropriate) and Wendell Pierce (Death of a Salesman) will announce select Tony Award nominations on CBS Mornings on May 1 at 8:30 am ET. The remaining nominees are announced at 9am on the Tony Awards YouTube page.
