With Wednesday, June 11th gearing up to be a beautiful day in the 80s, there’s nowhere else you’ll want to be other than the newest restaurant & bar concept from Crew: Sailor’s Choice. This East Coast seafood shack built around a “classic gentlemen’s lobster boat” is the new hotspot for the summer!
The beautiful lobster boat was a benevolent donation from Barton & Gray’s Mariner Club. Docked in Hudson Yards, the establishment boasts incredible views of the Vessel, the Shed and the Hudson River.
Sailor’s Choice offers “sea to “sea” sustainable oysters, jumbo shrimp cocktail, caviar tater tots, a lobster BLT and locally-sourced wild fish.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a true experience without grabbing one of their festive boat drinks to give you a rum-induced buzz, like their Revolución with light rum, mint, lime, and Angostura bitters. Cocktails not your style? Try the restaurant’s namesake “Sailor’s Choice” for a frosty beer instead.
Then, to end on a sweet note, be sure to order the chocolate cake à la mode or the piña colada ice cream.
As mentioned before, the seasonal restaurant comes from Crew, the team behind other summer escapes like Grand Banks, Island Oyster, Drift In, High Tide and Holywater. There’s no better team to bring waterfront hospitality to life here in NYC.
Customers can make their reservations online. Sailor’s Choice is open daily from 11am to 11pm. So whether you’re looking to catch some rays while you slurp down oysters and an Aperol spritz or you’re more interested in having dessert while the sun sets and the city lights turn on, Sailor’s Choice will be the destination restaurant you’re looking for.
