When to expect fall foliage to peak in NYC
Although fall foliage in New York is expected relatively soon — particularly if you’re en route to an A-frame cabin in the Adirondacks or a cozy airb&b in the Catskills — those in NYC most likely won’t see beautiful, bold hues in October.
According to multiple trackers, including one from Explore Fall and CBS News, the city is looking at peak foliage in early November, roughly around November 5th.
We’re sorry, folks. We know you’re looking forward to embracing those autumnal vibes, but Mother Nature will be OOO in the tristate area for a few weeks.
