New Yorkers have grown to love Urbanspace’s public markets, be it the Vanderbilt, Lexington, West 52nd location, or our personal favorites, the pop-up holiday markets at Union Square, Columbus Circle and Bryant Park.
So get ready, because even though the Winter Village at Bryant Park has closed, an exciting spring version of the wildly popular shopping destination by Urbanspace titled “Makers Market” will open at Bryant Park this May.
The seasonal market will focus on one-of-a-kind handmade items, featuring 116 local vendors.
Urbanspace is currently looking for vendors to be a part of this creative community and is requiring applicants to “be local to New York (or the tri-state area) and feature products that are 100% designed by them and produced locally,” announced their website.
Pop-up stalls will take over Bryant Park for three weekends in May. The market will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on select dates.

Urbanspace was first founded in the 70s, and has since become “a place where adventurous consumers can play an active role in creating their local retail landscape.”
