When is the Bryant Park Winter Village opening in 2024?
The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park will open before the spookiest of days this year, kicking off its 2rd season for 2024-25 on Friday, October 25! An October opening date will give New Yorkers the ultimate head start on the holiday season, with the chance to start on your holiday shopping before Halloween even gets its time to shine.
Where is the Bryant Park Winter Village?
You can find the beloved Winter Village at Bryant Park, between 40th and 42nd St. & Fifth and Sixth Ave.
What can you do at the Bryant Park Winter Village 2024?
From food to ice skating, shopping to curling, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the offerings at Bryant Park’s magical Winter Village.
The Rink
Skate across New York City’s only free admission ice skating rink, right in the middle of the Park.
Their 17,000-foot ice skating rink is open daily from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. throughout the season, and on select weekends and holidays from 8 a.m.-midnight. The Rink is completely outdoors, and skate time and rentals can be reserved in advance online here.

Curling Cafe & Bar
Nearby The Rink, visitors can enjoy a curling cafe. This fan-favorite feature will open sometime in mid-November. Guests will get their own private igloo for their lane, where they can enjoy food and beverages to fuel their game.
Cozy Igloos
Bryant Park’s cozy winter igloos will return beginning in November. Whether you’re hosting a birthday party, hanging with friends and family, or planning the perfect winter date, these privately heated igloos are a winter must!
The Holiday Shops by Urbanspace
The beloved open-air market features more than 170 artisanal vendors selling unique gifts. The shops will close for the season on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
In year’s past, the Small Business Spotlight presented by Bank of America lets four NYC minority-owned small businesses with annual revenues of $1 million or less showcase their products in a rent-free booth, made possible by Bank of America, as part of the season’s Holiday Shops.
The Lodge
The covered, outdoor “après skate escape” is the perfect place for visitors to cozy up with a festive cocktail or food & watch the skaters.
When is the Bryant Park tree lighting ceremony?
The tree lighting ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024.
When will the Bryant Park Winter Village close?
The Bryant Park Winter Village will be open through Sunday, March 2, 2025, except for the holiday market which will close on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
