The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park opened even before the spookiest of days this year, when it kicked off its 21st season for 2022-23 on Friday, October 28! However, it will officially close this weekend on Sunday, March 5th.
Though the holiday market already closed on January 2nd, ice skating, igloos, bumper cars and more will still be available through either this Saturday or Sunday.
Like in past years, all of your favorite spots had returned this season such as:
- The Rink: New York City’s only free admission ice skating rink, right in the middle of the Park. Reservations are even already open on their website!
- The Holiday Shops by Urbanspace: the beloved open-air market featuring more than 170 artisanal vendors selling unique gifts.
- The Lodge: the covered, outdoor “après skate escape” where visitors can cozy up with a festive cocktail or food & watch the skaters.
Their 17,000-foot ice skating rink that has been open daily from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. throughout the season will officially close on Sunday, March 5th. The only free-admission ice skating rink in NYC, The Rink is completely outdoors, and skate time and rentals can be reserved in advance online here.
New skate sessions and dates were released on a rolling basis throughout the season, and Bank of America cardholders can still save 10% on skate rentals when using their Bank of America card at the time of purchase.
The Rink also hosts the wildly popular Bumper Cars on Ice, which will close on Saturday, March 4th. Same with the curling cafe and igloos.
So head over to enjoy the last bits of winter magic before the spring catches up to us. And before you know it, Bryant Park’s Winter Village will return for the holiday season!
