Uma rede de restaurantes de alto nível na Coreia do Sul, a primeira unidade do Jongro nos EUA foi aqui mesmo em Nova York, em Koreatown. Eles sempre usam carne fresca e não congelada, com cortes nobres entregues diariamente. As carnes são cortadas internamente, marinadas na hora e cozidas na sua mesa com “termômetros a laser e lâmpadas de fumaça suspensas para garantir um frescor inigualável”. 4. Baekjeong, Koreatown
O nome desse restaurante de Koreatown vem da palavra coreana para “açougueiro”, e ele é conhecido por servir carnes da mais alta qualidade. Um dos restaurantes mais bem avaliados de L.A., a filial de Nova York do Baekjeong foi inaugurada em 2014. Criado pelo lutador coreano e comediante Kang Ho Dong, o Baekjeong “imita as qualidades rústicas e populares de um bar de churrasco local na Coreia”. Além de cozinhar suas carnes na grelha de mesa, você também pode saborear ovos, legumes, kimchi e sua mistura especial de milho com queijo.

Esse restaurante de dois andares no SoHo tem espaços impressionantes para refeições internas e externas. Além do churrasco, é claro, eles têm pratos de arroz como Bi Bim Bap, macarrão e sopas e ensopados como Duk Guk e Yook Ke Jang. Há também um happy hour nos dias de semana, das 15h às 18h, com coquetéis de inspiração coreana e petiscos como pãezinhos de barriga de porco e bolinhos de costela bovina.

Churrasco coreano e karaokê? Inscreva-se! Esse restaurante do Brooklyn tem salas de karaokê abertas nas noites de quarta a sábado (não é possível jantar nas salas de karaokê, no entanto, é preciso comer no restaurante antes!) Embora o restaurante também tenha um lindo pátio ao ar livre, o churrasco só é oferecido em ambientes fechados, nas mesas especiais de churrasco. Esse pequeno, mas poderoso restaurante de Chinatown tem algumas das classificações mais altas de churrasco coreano no Google. Além do churrasco, os críticos elogiam as sopas de kimchi e tofu e o frango frito coreano. Eles também têm hot pot e, como você deve ter adivinhado, muitos pratos de tofu!
