If you’re a pasta lover in NYC, you know damn well that some of the best dishes can be found at Lilia and Misi. And since that’s common knowledge, sometimes it can be tricky to score a reservation. But maybe not anymore…
Owners of Lilia and Misi, Missy Robbins and Sean Feeny, recently announced their plans to expand MISIPASTA into a “new chapter” as a boutique & aperitivo bar.
After countless requests for “to-go” options at both Lilia and Misi, the owners decided MISIPASTA was the solution to preserving the pasta’s quality, texture and taste. Customers can purchase bags containing house-made pasta (varying from bucatini to pappardelle) and sauce.
The highly-anticipated spot officially opened on Monday, August 21st, letting New Yorkers pick up fresh ingredients to make the restaurants’ beloved dishes in the comfort of their home.
MISIPASTA also doubles as a restaurant, featuring indoor counters and a back garden. And to no one’s surprise, their sole pasta dish on the menu (spaghetti with bottarga and lemon) has already broke the internet. Another showstopper on the menu includes an artichoke sandwich that’s sure to be a hefty but delicious option.
If you’re not looking to dine in, feel free to grab a quick espresso and peruse and assortment of Italian specialties for sale. The boutique offers pantry staples that Missy Robbins likes to keep in her own personal toolkit.
MISIPASTA is located at 46 Grand Street in Brooklyn. We recommend that eager customers head over as soon as possible before the spot absolutely blows up.
