Heroes by day, pop idols by night! The musical sensations from KPop Demon Hunters are stepping out of the screen and onto the streets of New York City!
This Thanksgiving, Herald Square will witness a pop-culture first as the voices behind Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters — EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami — make their daytime debut at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The 99th edition of the parade, airing live on NBC and streaming on Peacock across all U.S. time zones on Thursday, November 27 at 8:30 am EST, is sure to be extra action packed this year, with a blend of music, spectacle, and a touch of the supernatural.
Since its release in August, Netflix’s hit animated musical KPop Demon Hunters has absolutely taken over, both on-screen and off.

HUNTR/X has captured global attention, with Golden topping the Billboard Hot 100 for eight consecutive weeks and dominating streaming playlists worldwide. They’ve topped the charts, conquered streaming playlists, and even brought their animated alter-egos to life. What’s left to do? Take over Thanksgiving morning, of course!
The film has created unique opportunities for animation to blend with real life, and that’s exactly what their float and subsequent performance will accomplish. The trio will perform as HUNTR/X, the fictional K-pop girl group from the history-making animated film, while the group’s characters — Rumi, Mira, and Zoey — will float above the parade route.
The HUNTR/X performance joins an eclectic lineup this year, ranging from pop and R&B stars to Broadway and legacy acts, including Drew Baldridge, Ciara, Busta Rhymes, and the Radio City Rockettes.
Parade-goers can also enjoy new floats such as LEGO’s Brick-tastic Winter Mountain and Netflix’s Upside Down Invasion: Stranger Things, alongside beloved balloons like Snoopy and the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
