‘Tis the season to keep cozy. Fortunately, the adorable Après Skate Chalets by Balsam Hill at Rockefeller Center offer snuggly vibes — and a great vantage point of the Midtown attraction.
Now that the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree has been lit — this is the best time to see it, by the way — and skaters are making use of the ice rink, winter vibes are definitely peaking. All the more reason to book a brief chalet stay!
Up to six guests can enjoy a 40-minute reservation from $45-$185, depending on dates and times. The price will include two non-alcoholic drinks per person, and additional bites and drinks can be purchased once your party is on-site. Head over to the Rockefeller Center website to book a day and time that works well for you and your Christmas crew.
We’ll admit, Midtown can feel a little hectic — especially once the end of the year rolls around. But watching the city’s most iconic holiday hotspot come to life while you set up shop in a chalet is pretty much a picture-perfect winter experience. You’ll want to make sure you’re taking advantage of the photo-worthy attraction ASAP, as they won’t be around quite as long as they were in 2023. This year, guests will have until Tuesday, December 31st to enjoy the seasonal staple.
And if the NYC winter weather predictions want to help us out ever so slightly, perhaps we can enjoy our experience with a few flurries, too. Here’s hoping, right?!
While you’re in the area, stop by HERO in Rockefeller Center for “WINTER WONDER: The Northern Lights Express,” a 13,000-square-foot immersive experience that will bring you straight to Aurora Borealis (no plane ticket required).
If you’re looking for a similar experience to the chalets, Central Park’s heated cabins offer festive sweets in the heart of the park.
