Dominican rapper El Alfa is bringing his iconic dembow and dancehall style to Brooklyn this summer!
The Brooklyn Mirage recently announced that the Latin star will be gracing the brand new redesigned venue with a headlining show on June 4th, 2025.
The artist has grown to extreme heights in recent years, taking the world by storm with his one-of-a-kind dembow and reggaeton performances…alongside collaborations with the genre’s biggest stars in Bad Bunny, Nicky Jam, Farruko, and more.
Brooklyn’s summer show could be the very last NYC show he ever performs, as El Alfa recently announced he was “retiring from music” at the end of 2025.
Since losing his grandmother earlier this year, he wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post “I could have spent more time with her but my work didn’t allow it. The days of my retirement are getting shorter. ON DECEMBER 18TH OF THIS YEAR I WILL NEVER SING AGAIN… rest in peace grandma. I LOVE YOU.”
