The Brooklyn Mirage “4.0” is officially on the way.
Celebrating its 10th birthday this year, the Brooklyn mega venue (which has garnished international acclaim and redefined the live music industry) is getting a complete facelift from the ground up ahead of its 2025 season.
Today, Avant Gardner has released renderings of the venue’s anticipated transformation, headlined by a hyper-realistic 270-degree high definition video wall, a fully kinetic floor-to-ceiling shutter system, a pre-cut timber exoskeleton, and cascading opera balconies.

“When we decided to rebuild the venue from the ground up, we aimed to honor its legacy while expanding the dance floor, creating immersive side-quest spaces, and pushing the boundaries of music, art, and technology,” said Josh Wyatt, CEO of Avant Gardner. “This is not just an upgrade — it’s a rebirth.”
The root of the Mirage’s transformation is that a majority of its structure will be made of wood, creating heavy timber pillars that soar 65 feet high and will be among the largest builds of its kind in the USA.
Live music fans will also be keen to know that the venue’s iconic LED video wall is set to be revamped, this time bigger, better and called “Mirage 4.0.”
Creating a hyper-realistic 270-degree virtual environment, the 100 million pixel screen will draw audiences in like never before, while also sitting behind the world’s first fully kinetic shutter system of this scale in a live music venue.
Other notable upgrades include a custom-built L-Acoustics sound system and 90 foot wide performance area, amongst more.
With all of that said, ravers can finally expect more free space on the Brooklyn Mirage dance floor with the new layout.

The technology isn’t the only thing at the forefront of the new venue, with an enhanced guest experience at the top of the priority list for Avant Gardner.
Expect brand new opera-style balconies with unobstructed views over the dance floor, as well as bespoke hospitality amenities.
Safety improvements have been made as well, with significant enhancement to lighting, signage, ride share drop-off zones, and cell service enhancements that will improve raver’s overall journey to and from the venue.

The venue is slated to reopen on May 1st, and will feature a powerhouse lineup of over 100 confirmed shows for 2025. Of the names already announced: Sara Landry, Alesso, The Martinez Brothers, Peggy Gou, and many more, with additional major announcements still to come.
