Luckily, Domino Park’s beloved Movies in the Square movie series is back for another summer, turning the Williamsburg waterfront into one of the city’s most picturesque outdoor theaters.
The free series pairs fan-favorite films with golden-hour views of Manhattan, meaning you’ll get a blockbuster and a postcard-worthy sunset for the price of absolutely nothing. Honestly, finding free summer plans this good in NYC feels almost too good to be true.

The 2026 Schedule & Logistics
The series is returning for six nights of double billings with Domino Square transforming into the ultimate outdoor cinema–complete with the unparalleled backdrop of the Manhattan skyline!

🎬 Domino Park’s Movies in the Square Summer 2026 lineup
The theme for Movies in the Square’s 2026 lineup is “Summer Scenes,” featuring movies that celebrate the joy of a summer spent outside.
This summer’s movies include iconic scenes that take place on the hot streets of NYC, classics that transport viewers to Greece and Italy, and an opening movie with a nod to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
This year’s star-studded lineup includes:
- July 7: The Sandlot | Bend it like Beckham
- July 21: Luca | The Warriors
- August 4: Enchanted | Mamma Mia!
- August 18: Honey, I Shrunk the Kids | Before Sunrise
- September 1: A Bug’s Life | To Catch a Thief

For the 4 pm family screening you’re welcome to arrive at 3:30 pm to join in on art activities led by A Rosie Day.
For the 7 pm main feature, you can arrive at 6 pm to grab drinks from Other Half and snacks from Frita Batidos and Stretch Pizza as well as listen to DJ sets by Úrsula, DJ girl crush, & DJ honey cafe.

- Seating: There will be tables and chairs, stadium seating, and turf rounds. You can bring additional seating so long as it’s low to be respectful of other guests
- Weather: Screenings are generally rain or shine so bring umbrellas just in case! In the case of severe weather, Domino Park will announce the day of on their Instagram account as well as on their website of any cancellations
