Industry Kitchen
Located along the East River, this 5,000-square-foot venue boasts unobstructed views of the Brooklyn and Williamsburg Bridges. The space features floor-to-ceiling windows that open directly to a breezy riverfront patio.
This summer, they are launching a brand-new Raw Bar Truck. You can order fresh East Coast oysters, jumbo shrimp, and a massive Grand Plateau featuring a whole chilled lobster. Make sure to try their new summer menu additions, including ahi tuna nachos and mini lobster tacos.
Watermark Beach
This massive 10,000-square-foot outdoor bar on Pier 15 has officially transformed into a tropical oasis for the season. You can sip cocktails under lush palm trees while taking in sweeping views of the Brooklyn skyline.
The open-air setup perfectly complements the daytime and nighttime views of the East River. Their menu is packed with seafood-focused dishes and elevated American classics to keep you fueled all summer long.
Hudson VU
Located atop the Ink 48 Hotel, this 10,000-square-foot Hell’s Kitchen rooftop offers stunning 360-degree views of the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline. It features cozy lounge seating, glowing fire pits, and a striking reflective pool.
Executive Chef Carlos Letona—an alum of Atera and Jean-Georges—serves up refined classics like truffle croquettes and a signature “Birdcage” fried chicken tower. Don’t skip their whimsical desserts, like a break-me-with-your-spoon chocolate egg, or their tropical, fruit-forward cocktails.
ofcorsica
Tucked away at the very end of Pier 57, this new Mediterranean restaurant is heavily inspired by the island of Corsica. It sits right on the Hudson River and offers fantastic outdoor dining.
If you are a wine lover, this is your new go-to spot. They proudly boast the largest Corsican wine collection in New York. Pair a glass with their coastal-inspired menu for the ultimate sunset dinner.
City Winery, Pier 57
Located right on the Hudson River, this massive spot pairs live music, great wine, and waterfront dining all in one place. As Manhattan’s only working winery, you can sip wines crafted entirely in-house and served straight from the tap.
The expansive venue offers plenty of space to catch an epic sunset. You can choose between the breezy open-air deck or sit indoors by the floor-to-ceiling windows for uninterrupted views of the river and Little Island.
Miru
Also making waves at Pier 57 is Miru, an incredible new Japanese restaurant, rooftop bar, and listening room.
You can enjoy their carefully curated menu with outdoor dining directly on the water. It offers a chic, elevated vibe that is perfect for date nights or enjoying a breezy cocktail while listening to great music.
Sip ‘N Groove
For something that takes “waterfront” literally, Sip ‘N Groove is back. It is a 2-hour sunset cruise departing from Pier 83. Think of it as a rooftop party energy, but floating down the Hudson.
The cruise features a live DJ, a full bar of craft cocktails, and a close-up pass of the Statue of Liberty. They also offer a full concession menu onboard. Pro-tip: If you visit between June 21-28, you can score an exclusive, limited-time Lobel’s Prime Steak Sandwich!
Anable Basin
This Long Island City staple is keeping things classic this year, but with one major upgrade for sports fans. They have installed a huge TV to broadcast the World Cup matches, and the crowd energy has been unmatched.
You can still expect their beloved, no-frills menu and incredible, unencumbered views of the Manhattan skyline.
Mezze on the River
This Battery Park City gem is back and just as beautiful as last year. The outdoor terraces feature elevated cabanas with unobstructed Hudson River views.
The indoor dining room offers floor-to-ceiling windows, making it perfect for sailboat watching. You can’t go wrong with their fresh grilled branzino, mezze platters, and raw bar options.
City Vineyard, Pier 26
This beloved Tribeca outpost features a gorgeous wine garden directly overlooking the Hudson River. It is one of the most relaxing outdoor spaces in the neighborhood, complete with a lush, vine-covered rooftop.
It is an ideal destination for a long summer evening by the water. They recently debuted a brand-new menu featuring a fresh raw bar, locally sourced seafood, and plenty of their famous frozen frosé.
