Spring break isn’t just for students and teachers! Whether you’re in dire need of a vacation or you made the executive decision that no matter what age you are you’ll always take a spring break, American Airlines currently has cheap spring break flights from New York to Miami.
Miami is the most iconic spring break city in the states, and right now, one-way flights from New York to the spring break capital are as low as $64. Listed flights are departing from LaGuardia, the best airport in the country according to Forbes Travel Guide, and landing at MIA (Miami International Airport).
Of course, if you do plan to go to Miami, due note there are strict spring break rules. This includes a $100 flat fee parking rate, a DUI sobriety checkpoint, limited beach entrances and more. That’s all to say, what’s a couple of rules to follow when you’ll be greeted by 80 degree weather and gleaming sunshine?
The nonstop flight is a quick three-hour journey that’ll have you drinking your morning coffee in NYC and enjoying a delicious lunch by the beach in Miami by the afternoon. When you’re there, be sure to check out our friends over at Secret Miami for all of the coolest spots to explore.
The $64 price tag is for Basic Economy. If you’re planning on checking a bag, it will cost you an extra fee. Try this packing rule of thumb and you should be good with just a carry-on! Furthermore, no refunds will be allowed.
American Airlines is also offering spring break flight deals between New York and other U.S. cities including Chicago ($75) and Dallas ($90). To take advantage of American Airlines’ spring break deals, flights must be booked between February 28th through March 31st, 2025 for travel from February 28th to May 22nd, 2025.
For any domestic air travel past May 7th, 2025, U.S. passengers must have a REAL ID or REAL ID-compliant card in order to board any domestic flight. If one does not have either, they will not be permitted through security screening at the airport. You can learn more about how to get a REAL ID with our full guide.
