Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park hosted 2019’s FrostFest—a 10-day program filled with wintery fun activities—but has just announced an extension of its most popular event.
This year at FrostFest visitors were able to take part in the very adult-like activity of ice rink bumper cars for the first time ever, and then cozy up in an igloo with seasonal food and drinks. The bumper cars on ice hit The Rink daily, with $15 sessions that lasted 20 minutes. The event was originally scheduled to end on Sunday, February 3, but due to its success and popularity, Bryant Park will be extending the fun until February 24!
FrostFest, however, did end on Sunday so there won’t be any evening events or s’mores and mulled wine in the igloos. During their 10-day run they hosted a handful of other events during the evenings like an Ice Ball where people could “dress in [their] finest ballroom attire and skate around The Rink;” Winesday Tasting with Terlato wines; Live Band Karaoke with Heineken; and even a viewing party for Sunday’s Big Game hosted by Brooklyn Brewery!
To hit the ice with your bumper cars you’ll have to reserve space as soon as possible through Bryant Park’s website…because nothing says ‘adulting’ like bumping around on ice!
