NYC is known for its abundance of beautiful ice rinks, from the iconic rink at Rockefeller Center to Central Park’s beloved Wollman Rink, but admission can sometimes come at a steep cost. Luckily, Brooklyn residents are privy to a special deal at Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Roebling Rink.
On Sundays (10am – 11am) and Mondays (5pm – 6pm), Brooklyn residents can skate for free on a first-come, first-served basis. Skaters must have a valid ID handy, with a Brooklyn address on it.
Roebling Rink offers unbeatable views amid the sparkling skyline. The spectacular rink first opened in 2023 and remains a top winter destination in NYC. It’s open for the season from now until February 2, 2025.
Brooklyn residents will save the typical $10 fee for a skating ticket on the free session days and times. Skate rentals can be purchased for $7.
This is just one of the wonderful free things New Yorkers can take advantage of in the city.
