Summertime is coming and that means the return of our beloved night markets! Spanning from Manhattan to Brooklyn, we’re exciting that our annual outdoor festivities are back! Alongside NYC’s flea markets and farmer’s markets, the night-time gatherings are some of our favorite ways to spend a summer night β eating local, delicious food from NYC vendors. Below, we’ve rounded up all of the night markets happening now and when you can visit them!
1. Queens Night Market
This year marks the 8th season of The Queens Night Market in Flushing Meadows Corona Park! It’s free to the public and is open to the public on Saturday nights throughout the summer. Attendees will be able to find a highly curated list of food and drink vendors that range in specialities, from Trinidadian curry crab and dumplings to Taiwanese popcorn chicken. The best part? Everything is price capped at $5-6, meaning you can eat good at a great price! To top if off, there’s art/merchandise vendors, live performances, and so much more! Learn more about it here.

2. Uptown Night Market
Back for its third season, the Uptown Night Market in Harlem is here, and ready for you to try out their 70+ vendors representing 20+ countries. It happens on the second Thursday of each month until October, from 4 pm- 10 pm. Vendors include Perros Locos, Mr. Chopped Cheese, Harlem Hoopz, and a whole lot more! Not to mention there will be entertainment focused on Harlem’s community and culture. Learn more about it here.

3. Bronx Night Market
The Bronx Night Market is an open-air food and drink festival celebrating the best cuisine and culture in the Bronx. Walk through the likes of 60+ vendors, serving creations like mac & cheese fried burritos, enormous slices of carrot cake, fried chicken cones, and watermelon pizza! 4. Brooklyn Night Market
The Brooklyn Night Market takes over Industry City on the last Monday of every month up until October! Attracting thousands each year, this open-air night market features 40+ local vendors sharing delicious food, tasty treats, eclectic handmade items, and arts + culture artifacts. The likes of Brooklyn Dim Sum Co, Rosie’s Empanadas, and so many more will take over 36th St all summer long! Check out all of the diverse food options here!

5. Vegan Night Market
NYC’s first ever vegan night market is getting ready to take over the city this summer! Starting June 6, the plant-based night market will pop up in Wollman Rink every Tuesday from 4 pm – 9 pm. It’s free to enter and its hosted by MGH Events, who also runs some of the other markets in this list! Check out more details here.

Bonus: Japanese Night Market by UpstairsNYCΒ
Although not happening in the summer, Upstairs NYC’s Japanese Night Market is always one of our favorites. Last year’s renditions included all sorts of yummy options like takoyaki, yakisoba, BBQ (Yakiniku) burger, and kobe beef sushi from some of NYCβs most popular Japanese restaurants. They haven’t announced their 2023 edition of the festival, but keep your eyes peeled for a date later in the year!

Bonus: Chinatown Night Market
Think!Chinatown, a non-profit organization hosts the Chinatown Night Market in Lower Manhattan. This night market also is typically in the fall and has yet to be announced, but it’s great to have on your radar! It features tons of Asian vendors that have food, crafts, goods, and so much more! Keep an eye out for their 2023 announcements here.
