Calling all caffeine addicts! It’s no secret that NYC’s coffee shops keep us New Yorkers energized and ready for the day ahead, but what about during the warmer months? Nothing quite says summer like a cold glass of iced coffee, and here in New York you can find the best of the best. From iced lattes to nitro cold brew, we’ve put together a list of places with the best iced coffee in NYC right now!
1. Blank Street Coffee, Multiple Locations
Blank Street Coffee has been one of NYC’s most trendiest spots for the past few years, and now they’re all across the city! With their trendy branding and specialty coffees from around the world, it’s no wonder they’ve grown to the highest heights. Many of their iced coffee options here are superb, including those from their newly launched Cold Brew Menu.
Each made with a cold brew shot, we suggest checking out one of their new creations: Cortado Cold Brew, Shaken Brown Sugar Cold Brew, Shaken Chai Cold Brew, or Grapefruit Spritz Cold Brew.

2. La Cabra, East Village & SoHo
With roots from Denmark, La Cabra in NYC is now a coffee institution, thanks to their coffee options. With two locations (including a bakery at the EV spot), La Cabra takes pride in use top-of-the-line filtering techniques to create the freshest drinks possible. We recommend trying their Jose Miguel cold brew and pairing it with a world famous cardamom bun.

3. La Colombe Coffee Roasters
With locations in nearly every neighborhood in Manhattan, La Colombe is a staple for many locals, and serves some of our favorite iced drinks around. When it comes to iced coffee, La Colombe is best known for their seasonal cold drinks that are served on tap! That’s right, you can get a fresh pour of this season’s finest draft latte (right now it’s Hazelnut Latte) all summer long. Plus, they have cold brews, canned drinks, and so much more.

4. The Monkey Cup, Harlem
The Monkey Cup earned our Secret NYC stamp of approval for good reason, and it’s because every drink here is served with love. Their two owners from Venezuela proudly whip up some of the finest coffees and teas, including our favorites, the Caramel Latte (above), Matcha Latte, Espresso Iced, and their classic Monkey Mocha. These iced coffees are the real deal and will have you coming back for more!

5. SEY Coffee, Bushwick
We head to Bushwick to grab a cup of greatness at SEY Coffee, who might just have the most diverse options on this list. Their coffees come from all corners of the globe, including Kenya, Colombia, Ethiopia, and more. Their iced coffee specialty rotates all the time, so you’ll have to keep coming back to try their endless options! This spot also sells monthly coffee subscriptions too for hot coffee fans.

6. Partners Coffee, Multiple Locations
With a main flagship in Williamsburg, there are a few Partners Coffee around the city now, and we hit this place up for their Cold Brew on Tap. It’s simple and delicious. They’ve also got a great summer menu, including the Black Sesame Cold Brew, Oatchata and Mint Julep. Stop in and see what all the hype’s about.

7. Jack’s Stir Brew Coffee, Multiple Locations
This organic coffee shop and vegan bakery is home to 7 NYC locations, and it was one of NYC’s first coffee houses to exclusively serve ethically sourced organic coffee. In terms of their iced coffee options, their Cold Brew of course takes the cake as best seller, but other options like the Iced Matcha Latte and Honey Lavender Latte are delicious too.

8. Café Leon Dore, NoLita
Connected to the popular NoLita clothing store Aimé Leon Dore, this coffee spot serves deliciousness to the most well-dressed of clientele. Their curated menu is inspired by Greek coffee, and the standouts are the Freddo Espresso and Freddo Cappuccino, two frothy iced espresso drinks! The perfect drink after you’re done picking up a new outfit next door.

9. Fay Da Bakery, Multiple Locations
This Chinese bakery does many things, which includes serving delicious iced drinks. Since they’re known for using boba balls in their teas and coffees, you have to give their Tapioca Pearl Coffee a try! Or if that’s not your thing you can experiment with one of their other unique teas, milkshakes or lattes!

10. Root Hill Cafe, Gowanus
This woman-owned cafe in Gowanus is a cute little spot that pays homage to their community space. They proudly use Abbotsford Coffee grains to create their iced coffees, like their delectable Chai Lattes. Stop in if you’re in the neighborhood and have a chat with their lovely baristas who will make you feel at home!

11. Tenz Espresso Bar, Midtown East
Stop by Tenz Espresso Bar who of course…specialize in espresso. It can be iced as you please, but we also recommend considering their Iced Vanilla Latte and pairing it with one of their Blueberry Crumb Muffins. Trust us it’s the perfect breakfast option.

12. Frame, Upper East Side
Stop by Frame to grab one of their iced coffee options now. We highly suggest the pictured above Iced Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte, but they also have other delicious options too like the Tonic Espresso, Orange Juice Espresso, and a whole lot more! Their food is great too!

13. Devoción, Williamsburg
Devoción vows to be “Williamsburg’s Freshest Cup” and we have to admit…it might just be! Their assortment of Colombian coffee options make their iced flavors some of the best. The on tap Nitro Cold Brew is the real deal and their lattes are pretty good too. There’s a few locations around NYC but the Williamsburg one is the best.

14. Ralph’s Coffee, Flatiron & UES
Sip on Ralph Lauren’s favorite coffee blends at his select cafes in Manhattan! Complete with his iconic brand color of green, you can get all the standard iced coffee options here…Iced Macchiatos, Iced Cappuccinos, and so many more. It’s a bit overpriced but it’s worth it for the experience of the cafe.

15. Café Kitsuné, West Village
This cafe turns into a wine bar by night, and although it’s on the boujee side…it’s totally worth it. It’s the perfect place to grab an iced coffee when you’re exploring the West Village, and their options are plentiful. Some highlights include the Iced Yuzu & Honey, Iced Mocha, New York Signature and the Iced Matcha Latte.
