Spring is officially here and while we wait to ward off the rainy weather, we can’t help but think of the sunny warm days ahead! With that good weather comes flower blooms, and luckily they’ve already started blossoming all around New York City and its perimeters. To dowse you with some spring fever, we’ve put together a list of amazing flower shows and festivals that you can check out in the coming weeks!
1. The Orchid Show at New York Botanical Garden
We’re approaching the final week (closes April 22) of The Orchid Show: Florals in Fashion at the New York Botanical Garden! The annual flower show brings the catwalk to the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory in a fashion-inspired celebration, showcasing plenty of florals that will surely catch your eye.

2. The Macy’s Flower Show
Stop by Macy’s Herald Square and you’ll find this year’s iteration of their annual flower show, and this year in partnership with Dior! This immersive flower show throughout the flagship store includes a tunnel of florals, blooming strawberries, kaleidoscope displays and so much more. 3. Cherry blossoms at Brooklyn Botanic Garden
We love cherry blossoms, period. But we love them at Brooklyn Botanic Garden the most. Iconic sights of the landmark like the Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden is officially at peak bloom, making for the perfect viewpoints of the jaw-dropping pink flowers. Plus, the Cherry Esplanade (massive green lawn area) is officially primed up with double-flowering ‘Kanzan’ cherries and scarlet oak trees. We promise that you’ve never seen something like this before.

4. West Side Community Garden Tulip Festival
The West Side Community Garden Tulip Festival will happen on the Upper West Side on the weekends of April 13-14 and April 20-21! The garden will feature thousands of tulip bulbs and is free and open to the public. Learn more about the West Side Community Garden Tulip Festival here!

5. Waterdrinker Family Farm & Garden Tulip Festival
Experience millions of tulips on display across two separate farms at Waterdrinker Family Farm just 2 hours from NYC! From now until May, the tulip festival will feature endless flower fields, mini golf games, food trucks, live music, barnyard animals, activities for kids, and a whole lot more! There’s two different farms (Waterdrinker Manorville and Waterdrinker North Fork) as well, so you can choose whichever is closer to you! Learn more here.

6. Mohonk Tulip Festival
Take a little day trip Upstate from April 29 – May 10, 2024 and you’ll be treated to over 20,000 tulips at the budding Victorian Show Garden at the Mohonk Mountain House. This flower festival is in New Paltz, NY just a few hours drive from NYC, and is an experience…featuring daily floral teas and cookies, arts & crafts, garden tours, campfires, music, cocktail demonstrations, and more! 7. The Lyndhurst Flower Show
The Lyndhurst Flower Show is set to happen on April 20th and 21st in Tarrytown, NY (just 1.5 hours from NYC)! The already stunning Lyndhusrt Mansion will receive a floral makeover, complete with luscious botanical displays that highlight and harmonize with the historic mansion’s opulent interior and landscape features.
Plus, there will also be an accompanying Spring Market featuring over over 30 vendors selling plants, flowers, garden, and gift-related items!
