As the city teases us with sunnier days to come in spring, Macy’s Annual Flower Show has announced their return after last year’s cancellation.
One of the best parts about the beginning of spring is the decadent flower exhibition that Macy’s holds every year. Due to the pandemic, last years flower exhibition was rightfully cancelled. However, the show is set to relaunch this spring beginning May 2 through May 16, 2021 at Macy’s flagship store at Herald Square.
If you’re a flower lover you’ll be absolutely speechless with the gorgeous display of various flowers at this festival. “For decades, Macy’s iconic Flower Show has enchanted generations of floral fans with over-the-top themed gardens that showcase millions of live flowers, plants, and trees from around the globe,” shared a recent press release.
Every year Macy’s chooses a specific theme for the exhibition and with a year of absence, the 2021 show is ready to return in full bloom! Titled Give. Love. Bloom, the show will feature “magnificently landscaped gardens inspired by the feeling of hope for a brighter year ahead.”
The store at Herald Square will transform into a totally dreamy, floral escape redesigned to ensure visitors safety while still delivering magical displays. Revel in the beautiful views of flower arrangements “on store countertops, in display windows and specially designed architecture including grand bridges, columns, and topiaries.”
Each display will be socially distanced and stretch from floor to windows, all the way to the store’s exterior landscape.
The show will operate during regular store hours. Best part? Entry is completely free, so next time you’re shopping around Macy’s, pop in to the flower show and smell the roses!
