Spring is on the horizon, which means the annual Macy’s Flower Show is about to bloom in NYC.
The department store’s iconic Herald Square location will transform into a botanic wonderland that is completely free for shoppers and sight-seers to enjoy. Whether or not you have a green thumb, this is one event you’ll certainly want to put on your calendar.
As more information begins to sprout, like the blooms themselves, we’ll be here to provide all of the details.
When is the Macy’s Flower Show?
Exciting news: the department store has revealed that the iconic display will return for the 2025 season from Sunday, April 27th to Sunday, May 11th.
What is this year’s theme?
Every year, the Macy’s Flower Show coincides with a particular brand or theme to bring the store to life. At the time of publication, the specifics about what to expect haven’t been unveiled. As soon as we learn more about what’s in store for 2025, you’ll be the first to know.
Last year, the vibrant showcase was in partnership with Dior, to coincide with “The Miss Dior: From Flower to Fragrance” installation, which you can view below.
In 2024, Macy’s shoppers enjoyed the blossoms throughout the main floor, balcony, and of course, in the iconic store windows. The annual extravaganza pulled out all the stops — a tunnel of florals, blooming strawberries, and kaleidoscope displays — so we’re hopeful that 2025 will be just as intriguing.
How much is the event?
The Macy’s Flower Show is free.
In the meantime, when you head to the Midtown shopping spot, be sure to explore Macy’s first-ever spring market via Urbanspace on the mezzanine level and features local artisans and Strawberro, which is responsible for that decadent Dubai chocolate.
