As we all prepare ourselves for Greta Gerwig’s Barbie Movie to hit theaters July 21st, BarbieCore is definitely making its presence known as it turns the entire world pink!
And with all the perfectly pink events, snacks, experiences and more turning NYC into Barbieland, we can’t help but wonder–what would Barbie’s Dreamhouse look like if she was a city gal?
Data analysts at JeffBet have done some research to reveal what the Barbie Dreamhouse would like in the 25 most populous US cities, and they then used the MidJourney AI tool to generate photos of each one.
And, to be honest, the pop of pink it adds to NYC puts Times Square’s glittering billboards to shame if we do say so ourselves.
I mean, those views, the balconies, the pink–excuse us as we pick our jaws up off the floor.
“The premise of the upcoming movie is Barbie becoming ‘expelled’ from the utopia and exploring the ‘real world.’ We wanted to discover how the most populous US cities could be ‘Barbified’ if her adventures let her jet set around the states,” said a JeffBet spokesperson.
“People all around the world and of different generations share the love for Barbie and have had at one point considered a life in the Barbie Dreamhouse. This analysis has truly captured the essence of each state from the architecture to the landscape,” they added.
If you need us we’ll be sitting here dreaming this NYC Barbie Dreamhouse was real so we could live in it ourselves–or, well, fantasize about living in it because, let’s be real, that rent would probably be pretty out of budget for us.
In the meantime we’ll be living our best Barbie lives and visiting all these other (and real) perfectly pink places in NYC.
