Diese Pop-up-Bar mit Chanukka-Thema kommt vom 28. November bis zum 31. Dezember nach New York und bietet leckere Leckereien und köstliche Themencocktails an! 2. Grand Army Plaza Menorah-Beleuchtung
Die größte Menora in Brooklyn wird dieses Jahr zu Chanukka auf dem Grand Army Plaza angezündet, und zwar in der ersten Nacht des 7. Dezember. Diese Tradition, die sich seit über 30 Jahren über den Stadtteil erstreckt, ist eine der größten Menora-Anzündungen in New York City. 3. Fifth Avenue Menorah-Beleuchtung
Die Menora in der Fifth Avenue in Manhattan ist seit langem die festlichste und größte in ganz New York, und dieses Wochenende wird sie am ersten Tag des Lichterfestes angezündet. Diese 4.000 Pfund schwere Menora ist die größte Menora der Welt und steht genau hier in Midtown Manhattan! 4. Chanukka auf Eis in Wollman’s Rink
Wollman’s Rink im Central Park ist eine unserer Lieblingseisbahnen, und auch dieses Jahr gibt es wieder „Chanukah On Ice“ mit jüdischer Musik den ganzen Abend lang, kostenlosem koscheren Essen und einer riesigen, von Bill Bywater handgeschnitzten Eismenora. Natürlich können Sie auch Schlittschuh laufen! Die Veranstaltung findet am 6. Tag von Chanukka (12. Dezember) von 18 bis 21 Uhr statt. Tickets kosten 28 $ online und 35 $ an der Abendkasse. 5. Feiern Sie Chanukka in Hudson Yards
Feiern Sie das Lichterfest mit acht Tagen voller Sonderangebote in den Geschäften von Hudson Yards! Geschäfte wie Russ & Daughters, Miznon, Li-Lac Chocolates und andere bieten Sonderangebote an, und am 7. Dezember wird auf dem Public Square and Gardens sogar eine Menora entzündet! 6. Chanukka auf Eis im Seaport
Das Chanukka-Programm von Seaport findet am 10. Dezember von 15.00 bis 17.00 Uhr im Hafenviertel statt! Die kostenlose Veranstaltung umfasst Latkes, heißen Kakao, Live-Musik von der FiDi Hebrew School, Kunsthandwerk und das Anzünden einer drei Meter hohen Schokoladen-Menora. 7. Das Jüdische Museum
Das Jüdische Museum ist NYCs Zentrum für die Verbreitung und das Feiern der jüdischen Kultur in der ganzen Stadt. Dieses Jahr veranstaltet es einen Chanukka-Familientag mit Kunstworkshops und Konzerten zum Mitmachen! Am 3. Dezember von 11 bis 15:30 Uhr sind Kinder und Familien eingeladen, mit einer spielerischen Mischung aus Fundstücken, die von der aktuellen Ausstellung Marta Minujín inspiriert sind, weihnachtliche Skulpturen zu bauen: Arte!
