1. City Winery, Chelsea & Grand Central
Die City Winery verbindet das Nachtleben von NYC mit dem kosmopolitischen Flair einer hochwertigen Weinverkostung und ist damit einer der besten Orte für Weinverkostungen in NYC. 2. Gotham Weingut, Flatiron
Dieses Weingut in schwarzem Besitz ist einer unserer Lieblingsplätze für Weinproben, weil es sich auf nachhaltig produzierte Weine konzentriert! Mit ihren fruchtbetonten und leicht zu trinkenden Weinen spricht die Gotham Winery den modernen Weintrinker an, der den Geschmack und den Duft edler Weine genießt.

4. Das Weingut Red Hook, Red Hook
Mark Snyder, der Gründer von The Red Hook Winery, gründete dieses Weingut im Jahr 2008, um die besten Weingüter New Yorks zu präsentieren. In direkter Zusammenarbeit mit den örtlichen Weinbauern bezieht The Red Hook Winery Weine aus North Fork, Long Island und den Finger Lakes, um ein wahrhaft umfassendes Erlebnis von New Yorker Wein zu bieten!
Das Team von The Red Hook Winery, dessen Weinkellerei sich am Pier 41 befindet, stellt alle verfügbaren Weine selbst her und konzentriert sich darauf, das Klima und die Geologie jeder einzelnen New Yorker Weinbauregion in jeder Flasche widerzuspiegeln. Ihre auf Europa fokussierten Weine geben Ihnen eine globalere Perspektive auf Wein als die anderen Lokale, und ihre „Happier Hour“-Angebote heben sie von der Masse ab. Was die Verkostungen angeht, empfehlen wir, freitags oder samstags bis 18 Uhr vorbeizuschauen, um die $13-Weinflights ($18 nach HH) zu probieren.

8. Rooftop Reds, Brooklyn Navy Yard
Seit 2016 ist Rooftop Reds der erste kommerziell nutzbare städtische Dachweinberg der Welt! Das Rooftop Reds befindet sich im Sommer im Brooklyn Navy Yard und ist ein großartiger Ort, um das maßgeschneiderte urbane Pflanzensystem zu testen, das die 14.800 Quadratmeter große Fläche bedeckt. Das Sortiment umfasst Weine aus der Finger Lakes-Region und aus Brooklyn, so dass Sie nie wissen, was auf der Speisekarte steht!

9. Sauced, Williamsburg
Obwohl es im Sauced in Williamsburg eigentlich eine Speisekarte gibt, sollte man in diesem Weinlokal besser einen der äußerst sachkundigen Mitarbeiter um Vorschläge bitten. Das Sortiment besteht aus allen möglichen europäischen Weinen, darunter auch schwer zu findende Orangenweine! Bei schönem Wetter ist der Hinterhof ein großartiger Ort, um verschiedene Gläser zu probieren und sich mit anderen zu unterhalten, die das Gleiche tun. Bei kühlerem Wetter können Sie drinnen sitzen und mit einem Barkeeper plaudern, der höchstwahrscheinlich über ein interessantes Weinwissen verfügt.

10. Despaña Vinos y Mas, Lower East Side
Dieser Weinladen ist auf spanische Weine wie Garnacha, Tempranillo, Mencia und viele andere Sorten spezialisiert und bietet jeden Donnerstag von 17 bis 19 Uhr Verkostungen an. Sie bieten auch eine Reihe von Kursen an, die je nach spanischer Region variieren und die Sie buchen können (obwohl sie sehr schnell ausverkauft sind). Hier erfahren Sie, welche Kurse angeboten werden, und halten Sie auf jeden Fall Ausschau nach weiteren, die angekündigt werden.

Dieser hübsche Weinladen ist immer randvoll mit erschwinglichen und kuratierten Weinen, die New Yorkern sicher gefallen werden! Die Lage im West Village ist ideal für einen Zwischenstopp nach dem Essen auf dem Heimweg! Mittwochabends finden von 19 bis 21 Uhr Weinverkostungen statt. Das Orange Glou ist der „erste und einzige orangefarbene Weinladen der Welt“ und bietet sowohl persönliche als auch virtuelle Weinverkostungen an! Bei den persönlichen Verkostungen arbeitet Orange Glou mit einem Buchungssystem, d. h. für eine einstündige Sitzung zu 65 $ pro Person müssen mindestens 10 Personen teilnehmen. 15. Temperance Weinbar, West Village
Zu guter Letzt auf unserer Liste steht die Temperance Wine Bar, eine rundum solide Wahl für jeden Weinliebhaber. Was die Verkostungen anbelangt, so gibt es hier täglich Weinflights zum Ausprobieren, mittwochs von 16 bis 18 Uhr Blindverkostungen ($21 für 3 halbe Gläser) und sogar private Verkostungen, die von den fachkundigen Mitarbeitern des Hauses durchgeführt werden (für größere Gruppen).
