Kurz vor den Feiertagen haben wir uns entschlossen, eine Liste der festlichsten Bar-Neugestaltungen in New York City zusammenzustellen. Jedes Jahr verwandeln sich zahlreiche Bars und Restaurants für ein paar Monate in magische Winterwunderlandschaften, um sich für die Feiertage zu schmücken. Manche Dachterrassen verwandeln sich in Berghütten oder Iglus, während andere Räume eher kitschig und bunt dekoriert sind. Eines haben sie jedoch alle gemeinsam: ihr lustiges und festliches Cocktailangebot!
Ganz gleich, ob Sie diese Saison in Weihnachtsstimmung kommen wollen, auf der Suche nach dem nächsten Veranstaltungsort für Ihre Weihnachtsfeier sind oder einfach nur einen neuen Raum ausprobieren möchten – hier sind alle Pop-up-Bars, die auf Ihrer Winterliste stehen sollten!
1. Miracle on 9th Street, East Village
Die Pop-up-Cocktailbar mit weihnachtlichem Thema ist eine der beliebtesten Bars in New York und wird auch in diesem Jahr wieder mit ihrem kitschigen Weihnachtsdekor und festlichen, gut gemachten Cocktails (wie dem Christmapolitan, Yuletide und Jingle Balls Nog) aufwarten! Ursprünglich wurde das Pop-up im Jahr 2014 im Mace eröffnet, ist aber inzwischen auf über 120 Standorte weltweit angewachsen, wobei der diesjährige Standort im The Cabinet in Alphabet City ist! Außerdem gibt es ein Schwester-Pop-up Sippin‘ Santa im Thief in LES!

Frosty’s ist ein jährliches Pop-up-Bar-Erlebnis, das jedes Jahr zur Weihnachtszeit nach Midtown zurückkehrt! Freuen Sie sich auf die größte Weihnachtsdekoration, die Sie (wahrscheinlich) je gesehen haben, und genießen Sie dabei festliche Snacks und Getränke. Die übertriebene Dekoration ist malerisch und das freundliche Personal ist in hässliche Pullover gekleidet. Und die vier Bars, die sich über drei Etagen erstrecken, machen den Eindruck, als würden Sie in einen Weihnachtsfilm eintauchen.

3. Beheiztes Winterwunderland im Loreley-Garten, Lower East Side
Loreley Beer Garden’s Heated Winter Wonderland ist diesen November zurück und serviert herzhafte Speisen und Getränke wie Boozy Bourbon Hot Chocolate, Spiked Eggnog, Hot Bourbon Apple Cider, Famous Mulled Wine, Winter Sangria, Hot Toddys und mehr. Der beheizte Garten und die weihnachtliche Dekoration machen das Lokal auch an den kältesten Tagen zum perfekten Ort zum Verweilen.

4. Jingle Jangle, FiDi
Diese irische Weihnachts-Pop-up-Bar im The Dead Rabbit ist dank der festlichen Dekoration und der hervorragenden Drinks einfach himmlisch. Im November wird sie wieder eröffnet, und es erwartet Sie eine „nostalgische Feier der irischen Familienfeste“. Es gibt kitschige Cocktails, eine ausgefallene Dekoration, einen magischen Weihnachtssoundtrack mit all Ihren Lieblingshits und vieles mehr! Weitere Informationen finden Sie hier.

5. Winterwunderland des Weihnachtsmanns, Seaport
Genießen Sie in Santa’s Winter Wonderland im Watermark einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Hafenviertel und die Brooklyn Bridge. Die 10.000 Quadratmeter große Bar und das Restaurant im Freien verwandeln sich in ein überdimensionales Winterwunderland, in dem weihnachtliche Cocktails und Häppchen serviert werden, Geschenke von Mrs. Claus‘ Candy Bar angeboten werden und sogar die Möglichkeit besteht, den Weihnachtsmann zu treffen und zu begrüßen! 6. Whiskey-Wunderland, SoHo
Die unterirdische Winter-Speakeasy „Whiskey Wonderland“ kehrt auch in diesem Jahr zu Great Jones Distilling Co. zurück! In Manhattans erster Whiskey-Destillerie können sich die Gäste direkt an den Nordpol versetzen lassen, denn in dem weihnachtlich geschmückten Winterchalet werden theatralische, saisonale Cocktails serviert, die mit Whiskey von Great Jones hergestellt werden. Vergessen Sie auch nicht die winterlichen Häppchen wie Schokoladenfondue, Wintertrüffel-Fladenbrot und Duo Holiday Sliders! Bleiben Sie dran für Reservierungsinformationen für 2024!

7. Maccabee Bar, West Village

Eine Pop-up-Bar mit Chanukka-Thema kehrt jedes Jahr zur Weihnachtszeit nach NYC zurück, komplett mit Dekoration und festlichen Cocktails! In der Regel ist es die einzige Bar, die sich den Feiertagen widmet…und von Chanukka inspirierte Speisen und Getränke wie den Everything Bagel Martini und Latke Sour serviert . Wir warten immer noch auf Informationen über den diesjährigen Standort, aber wir können davon ausgehen, dass sie im November wieder auftaucht, also bleiben Sie dran!

8. Schneetag in Brooklyn, Williamsburg
Snowday in Brooklyn , das Weihnachts-Pop-up von Sunday in Brooklyn, ist immer einer unserer Lieblingsorte in Brooklyn! Jedes Jahr wird die Speisekarte umgestaltet und es werden festliche Speisen und winterliche Getränke in den schönsten Gläsern serviert, während man in einem winterlichen Raum sitzt, der mit Kränzen, Girlanden und Ornamenten geschmückt ist. Bleiben Sie dran, wenn Sie mehr über die Rückkehr in diesem Jahr erfahren möchten!

9. Grinchy’s bei Roberta’s, Bushwick
Roberta’s ist eine unserer Lieblingspizzerien in Bushwick, und dieses Jahr gibt es dort für eine begrenzte Zeit ein Pop-up namens „Grinchy’s“! Wie du dir vorstellen kannst, wird der Raum mit Weihnachtsbeleuchtung, riesigen Zuckerstangen und einer Grinch-Dekoration geschmückt sein, wie du sie noch nie zuvor gesehen hast. Bleiben Sie dran für eine offizielle Ankündigung, wann dieses Bushwick-Hauptgeschäft im Jahr 2024 zurückkehren soll.

10. City Winery Winter Domes, Midtown
Die Winter Domes am Rockefeller Plaza werden später in diesem Jahr wieder geöffnet, um Ihnen in diesem Winter Wärme zu bieten. Wenn Sie mitten in den Weihnachtsfeierlichkeiten in New York City bleiben möchten oder einfach nur eine kurze Pause vom Einkaufen brauchen, sind die Winter Dome Iglus der City Winery ein netter, beheizter Ort für Sie (und bis zu 8 Personen) zum Abhängen.

11. Sleyenda, Cobble Hill
Das lustige und kokette Weihnachts-Pop-up in Brooklyn kehrt auch dieses Jahr wieder zurück und heißt Sleyenda! Das zweifach für den James Beard nominierte Lokal Leyenda verwandelt sich wieder einmal von Kopf bis Fuß in ein dekoriertes Wunderland. Vergessen Sie nicht die handgefertigten Cocktails, die in festlichen Gläsern serviert werden, darunter Weihnachtsmannstiefel, Tom & Jerry Becher, riesige Weihnachtsmannköpfe und vieles mehr! 12. Camp Porchlight, Chelsea
Die Bar in West Chelsea lädtdieses Jahr wieder zu ihrem beliebten Pop-up Camp Porchlight ein, das Apres-Ski-Stimmung in die Stadt bringt, ohne Miete, Road-Trips und Risiko! Die Bar wird sich in eine gemütliche und cocktailreiche Winterhütte verwandeln… und das alles bei Drinks, die vom brandneuen Beverage Director Trevor Langer kuratiert werden!
