Looking for a quaint wellness retreat you’ll literally never want to leave? Look no further than the Hudson Valley’s Wildflower Farms, Auberge Collection.
Located about 90 minutes outside of NYC in Gardiner, NY, this 140-acre sanctuary oozes self-care and luxury. It was recently honored by Travel + Leisure as the No. 1 Resort in New York, No. 10 Resort in the Continental U.S. and the No. 92 Hotel in the World. It is also one of just 26 Michelin Key hotels in New York.

Between its Thistle Spa (which utilizes botanicals grown right on the farm) and its highly ambitious farm-to-table culinary program, a stay here feels like stepping into a storybook.
Now, the resort is elevating its guest experience even further with an incredible lineup of new events for the summer and fall.
Elevating everyday cooking with Chef’s Atelier

This season, Wildflower Farms has partnered with Le Creuset to launch Chef’s Atelier: Field To Craft. This three-part culinary series is designed to completely inspire your everyday cooking routines.
Each session begins with a guided foraging experience alongside Farm Director Will Conway. Guests then join a hands-on cooking workshop using Le Creuset cookware to prepare and enjoy a delicious seasonal lunch together.
Following a successful debut with Chef Hillary Sterling, the series continues with:
- Chef Maxime Pradié (Chef & Partner at Zimmi’s) on September 3
- Chef Joshua Pinsky (Chef-Owner of Claud) on October 18
- Additional Chef’s Atelier classes will also be offered throughout the summer and fall for even more opportunities to explore seasonal cooking and foraging.
An epic homage to the harvest

To celebrate its own six-acre working farm, the property is rolling out Harvest Months. Running from June through October, each month spotlights a different seasonal ingredient.
These ingredients are woven into the entire guest experience—from unique dining and wellness offerings to special workshops, farm tours, and welcome amenities.
This also includes the highly anticipated return of The Art of Abundance: A Harvest Dinner Series. On September 13, the series welcomes Heirloom Fire for a massive, one-night dinner prepared entirely over an open flame.

Guests will watch every course come to life at a beautiful communal table, featuring ingredients that were harvested just hours earlier.
Sensorial floral designs by Ariella Chezar
If you prefer flowers over food prep, mark your calendars for August 16. Visitors are invited to spend the day amidst the property’s blooming flower fields with Ariella Chezar, an author and Master Floral Designer.
Inside the Maplehouse barn, attendees will explore the art of creating large-scale floral arrangements and captivating tablescapes. You will then help transform the day’s designs into a breathtaking outdoor dinner party beneath the enchanting tree canopy of Maple Lane.
As the sun sets, guests can sip seasonal cocktails and witness the chefs transform the farm’s Edible Flowers into a refined, multi-course experience.
A Michelin Key stay

If you decide to make it a full weekend escape (which we definitely recommend!), the resort offers 65 stunning accommodations, including stand-alone cabins, cottages, and suites.
Expect expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, private patios, cozy interiors, and unparalleled views of the Shawangunk Ridge.

Whether you are hiking their three-mile walking trail, taking an Annual Sheep Shearing or Guided Fly Fishing class, or enjoying pastries at The Great Porch, you will definitely find that interconnectedness with nature you’ve been craving.
