1. SoHo Trees, SoHo
If you’re Downtown, swing through Canal Street and Varick to browse SoHo Trees‘ options. They have a few other locations around the city, but this is their main flagship. 4. Old First Nursery School, Park Slope
If you’re looking to support a good cause with your tree purchase, do it at the Old First Nursery School in Brooklyn. This nursery school is holding their annual fundraiser by selling stunning trees to New Yorkers! You can pick one out yourself on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 6 pm from now – December 21. 5. Brooklyn Terminal Market, Canarsie

Brooklyn Terminal Market is about as close as you’ll get to trees directly from a farm in NYC. The industrial-style market is filled with rows of fresh Christmas trees that are ready to be picked! They also have some of the largest trees to choose from in all of the city. Why else we love it though? It’s relatively cheap compared to more traditional retailers and there’s free parking while you pick out your winner!

6. Christmas Tree Farms, Westchester & More
If you’re looking to go as natural and authentic as it gets, consider taking a trip Upstate to pick out a Christmas tree. Some of our favorite farms near NYC include Wilkins Fruit & Fir Farm (Yorktown Heights, NY) and Solvang Tree Farm (Poughkeepsie, NY), but there are many around the Tri-State area, including New Jersey and Connecticut too! Their Coney Island location offers a wide selection of shapes and sizes that can be wrapped up by their elves or delivered on a different date! NYC is full of holiday and farmers markets, and sometimes these can be the best places to find a hidden gem of a Christmas tree! If you’re uptown, be sure to check out Urban Garden Center in East Harlem, which is the largest garden center in NYC. Plus, since they’re a garden center, each Christmas tree is personally taken care of by hand to ensure it’s in great shape for your home!

Plucked carefully from Quebec, the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Pacific Northwest, Greg’s Trees has been around since 1985, selling New Yorkers stunning Christmas trees around the city. Their multiple locations, which are always decked in decorations and feature hand-painted holiday character cutouts, wreath-making stations, and giant sleighs will always put you in a festive mood!
