And according to Airbnb’s 2025 spring travel trends report travelers are proving that spring break isn’t just for students…though contrary to MTV’s “Spring Break” series not everyone will be heading to Florida’s Panama City Beach.
Airbnb looked at some of the top trending spring travel destinations based on a growth in searches since spring 2024, and from breathtaking beaches in Ubatuba, Brazil, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to charming European cities Basel, Switzerland and Cologne, Germany, don’t blame us if your wanderlust is at an all time high after reading this.
Top trending spring travel destinations 2025
Basel, Switzerland
Each May, Basel, Switzerland holds its iconic international song competition, making it a bustling spring destination. But there’s way more to Basel than that–the Swiss destination is also known for its renowned museums, architecture, and lively culinary scene.
Ubatuba, Brazil
