NYC’s Only Rooftop Ice Rink This Year Offers A Stunning View Of The Manhattan Skyline

Though Pier 17’s rooftop skating rink is closed this year, there’s still another on the rooftop of a Williamsburg hotel offering an unobstructed view of the entire city skyline!

The “Vale Rink,” which opened for the first time last year, is located on the 23rd floor rooftop of The William Vale in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and has breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline.

The hotel opened in 2016 and also features its own public park space, pool, and local art displays. The rink is its newest addition to a space already full of fun.

And, the rink is actually not technically made of ice! According to their website, they partnered with “Glice USA, a company that has used new technology to create polymer panels that simulate the glide and feel of ice. The surface is impact absorbent and environmentally friendly.”

The rink is open Wednesday-Friday from 2pm to 10pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon – 10pm. To ensure social distancing, you must make a reservation in advance here. Face masks are also required.

The cost—which includes skates and locker use—is $20 for adults and $12 for children.

It is located at the 23rd floor rooftop of The William Vale at 111 N 12th St. in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

We know what we’re adding to our weekend to-do list!
