The “Vale Rink,” returning for its fifth year, is located on the 23rd floor rooftop of The William Vale in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and has breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline.
The hotel opened in 2016 and also features its own public park space, pool, and local art displays. The rink is its newest addition to a space already full of fun.
And, the rink is actually not technically made of ice! According to a press release, their rink is made of “Glice”—a sustainable, synthetic ice made that doesn’t require any water or use of power. The surface creates a similar experience without all the cold and wetness of real ice!
Not all of the details have been released yet, but we did learn that the rink targeted to open this month on Monday, November 27th.
Vale Rink will be open Wednesday through Friday. Last year’s cost—which included skates and locker use—was $20 for adults and $12 for children.
It is located at the 23rd floor rooftop of The William Vale at 111 N 12th St. in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
And when you’re done skating, head over to Winter Village at Westlight for the pop-up’s fourth season at The William Vale’s 23rd floor rooftop.
Perfect for the chilly winter season, there you can take in more sweeping 360-degree skyline views inside one of the cozy, decked out chalets while you enjoy Alpine-style fondue, Westlight’s menu of small and large bites, and seasonal cocktails.
We know what we’re adding to our holiday season to-do list!
