With the U.S. Open just a few days away, exciting activations are popping up all across NYC. But there’s one that we must admit we’re most excited for: a tennis court is taking over Times Square.
Waterdrop, a hydration advocate and drink-tech purveyor, is responsible for the tennis court coming to Times Square on Thursday, August 24th. In total, waterdrop has saved up to 30 million plastic water bottles and can be found in 3000+ stores.
Passersby can stop in and practice their backhand and play a game anytime from 1pm-8pm. There will also be a Microdrink Hydration Station to ensure all players and visitors are optimally hydrated.
Insider tip: anyone who recycles on the court will get a free drink from waterdrop.
Don’t have a racquet? No need! waterdrop will provide racquets and tennis balls for everyone.
Beyond playing yourself, waterdrop will host world-class tennis players for a match on the Times Square court. This means you’ll be able to catch some of your favorite players in action, all for free!
