The life of a city girl!
Following her internet-breaking engagement and the release of her beloved new album The Life of a Showgirl, Taylor Swift has returned to NYC. On November 3rd, she and Gigi Hadid stepped out to enjoy a cozy Manhattan dinner, both dressed in cozy fall looks.
The pair stepped out to Zero Bond in the West Village, just an avenue away from Cornelia Street, the road that’s become synonymous with Swift from the titular song on her 2019 album Lover.
Swift looked effortlessly chic in a navy peacoat layered over a cream knit sweater and plaid mini skirt, finishing the look with her signature red lip and a pair of knee-high snakeskin boots. On her hand, the sparkle of her new engagement ring caught the glow of the paparazzi flash as she arrived arm-in-arm with Hadid.
Hadid opted for understated elegance, wearing a soft gray turtleneck, sleek leather pants, and a velvet coat in deep burgundy — the perfect complement to Swift’s preppy fall style. The duo, longtime members of each other’s inner circle, were seen laughing as they entered the private club, where they reportedly dined with a small group of friends.

🗽Taylor Swift’s Manhattan favorites
Swift’s life in NYC since 2014, centered around her Tribeca residence (affectionately nicknamed “Taybeca”), has led to a collection of favorite Manhattan spots, often focused on intimate, classic restaurants in the West Village and her downtown neighborhood.
Here are some of her most-cited favorites:
- Via Carota: Frequently spotted with friends like Sophie Turner and Dakota Johnson. The restaurant is a critically acclaimed West Village staple.
- Emilio’s Ballato: Known for its no-reservations policy, it’s a neighborhood institution where Taylor has dined with friends like Blake Lively.
- Waverly Inn & Garden: A long-time favorite since at least 2016, a cozy, dimly lit restaurant where she has been seen with Travis Kelce and friends like Gigi Hadid.
- Minetta Tavern: An iconic, dark-wooded tavern where she dined with Phoebe Bridgers
And don’t forget, Swift often frequents this old school NYC Italian restaurant, a New York City institution since 1956. Her NYC nights out are notorious, but this one was extra special. A new era, a familiar skyline — and a pop star perfectly at home in both.
