As the weather warms up Rockefeller Center is once again breathing new life into its iconic ice rink for Summer at The Rink!
Opened this May, Rockefeller Center’s iconic ice rink has turned into a fabulous community oasis, or a “playground for New Yorkers,” that will be here all summer long!
A place where New Yorkers and visitors alike can sit, work, play, and explore dining, shopping, public art, and more, the pop-up will be open for five months of warm weather.
Plus, two lauded Rink Level restaurants–NARO from JP + Ellia Park of Atomix and Atoboy, and Jupiter from Jess Shadbolt, Annie Shi and Clare de Boer of King–will offer al fresco menus at The Rink from May through September before the space once again welcomes ice skaters.
Programming for all ages and seasonal experiences includes:
- Outdoor seating & games
- iNDIESUMMER at The Rink
- Pride Summer Movie Nights at Rockefeller Center
- Daybreaker Silent Disco
- and more!
According to a press release Rockefeller Center’s iconic rink has lived many lives since its inception nearly 100 years ago. It’s been the site of tennis courts and fashion shows, and it even transformed into a giant retro roller rink the last two years.
In addition to The Rink, visitors to Rockefeller Center can experience over 100 works of public art throughout campus and the newly launched The Beam at the Top of the Rock observation deck.
