Now that the warm weather is officially here, this beloved sanctuary is bringing back its highly anticipated outdoor movie nights for the 2026 season.

A stunning 39 acre escape with World’s Fair roots
Before you unroll your picnic blanket for a movie, exploring the grounds of this historic sanctuary is an absolute must!
Originally created as part of the 1939 New York World’s Fair, the Queens Botanical Garden has blossomed into a breathtaking natural haven that’s one of NYC’s most underrated attractions.
Visitors can wander through the wildly popular Fragrance Walk, get up close with nature in the vibrant Bee Garden, or snap the perfect sunset photos among the colorful blooms of the gorgeous Rose Garden.
The space is entirely dedicated to showcasing the incredible multicultural diversity of Queens through native plants and unique art installations.

What to expect at the 2026 Summer Movie Nights
There is nothing quite like watching your favorite films surrounded by towering trees and blooming flowers!
Your movie night ticket scores you way more than just the screening.
Guests are treated to exclusive after hours access to the gardens during the most beautiful time of day.
You even get a complimentary themed craft included with your admission!
The gates will typically open at 6:30 pm, giving you plenty of time to claim your spot, grab some snacks from the on site vendors, and enjoy a light picnic before the movie kicks off right around 8:30 PM.
Just remember to BYOB (bring your own blanket) or pack a comfortable lawn chair to lounge in since seating is first come, first served.

Tickets are an absolute steal at just $6 for adults, $4 for students and seniors, and $2 for kids.
Members and children under three get to attend for free.
