If you ask us, singing and dancing along to live music in New York City is the perfect way to spend a night. Now, play that live music on top of a rooftop and pair it with warm weather and unparalleled skyline views and, well, that night literally couldn’t get any better. If we’ve piqued your interest you’re in luck–the exhilarating Rooftop at Pier 17 2025 Concert Series is back for the season and it’s bringing with it all of the above!
A highlight of the momentous South Street Seaport in Downtown Manhattan, the 300,000-square-foot Pier 17 is the port’s signature venue. Each spring and summertime they dedicate their 3,500-capacity, open-air rooftop to an epic concert series, and their 2025 season will officially kick off on Thursday, May 1st.

New Yorkers and visitors to the city look forward to the Seaport Concert Series each year. The Rooftop at Pier 17 is more than just a concert venue, it’s an entire experience filled with incredible artists and musicians, unmatched views of the city skyline, and the best cocktails and food the city has to offer at the Seaport’s surrounding bars and restaurants.
An exhilarating and wide array of acts will take to New York City’s most scenic outdoor stage this season, including DJ Elderbrook, Mayday Parade, JET, SiR, The Kooks, James Arthur, Barenaked Ladies with Sugar Ray and Fastball, PRIMUS, Riley Green, The Fray, Rilo Kiley, Sierra Ferrell, Kneecap, and so many more!
And the best part: this year the fun doesn’t stop when the weather cools off! In December 2024, The Rooftop at Pier 17 announced that, for the first time ever, the Pier 17 Rooftop Concert Series would extend year-round, regardless of the weather, beginning this year (2025)! This is all thanks to a brand new climate-controlled enclosure that can fit up to 3,000 fans during the winter time, all without obstructing the iconic backdrop.
Though the late-fall and winter lineup has not yet been announced, audiences can expect an additional 25 concerts.
As always, concert goers will have numerous ways to elevate their experience by purchasing access to Heineken® Silver Zone, a reserved viewing area located in front of the stage with access to dedicated concessions. Additionally, the rooftop will be rolling out new elevated hospitality experiences this year, including the following:
- The Liberty Club – the rooftop’s most premium space with expedited entry into the venue, all-inclusive food, a full-service cash bar, and comfortable lounge seating throughout three exclusive areas
- The Chase Sapphire Reserve® Premium Access – expedited entry into the venue, all-inclusive food and beverages, and access to a lifted viewing platform during performances
- Patrón Patio – a brand new two-level patio with an elevated view of the stage and a dedicated bar serving Patrón Tequila cocktails
