Hudson River Park just released their jam-packed spring and summer event schedule, and they’re making it easier than ever to have a blast outdoors without breaking the bank!
This year’s lineup will offer hundreds of free and exciting programs across each neighborhood of the four-mile riverfront park. Some old favorites will return, such as the critically acclaimed Blues BBQ Festival and the outdoor fitness series, while expanded summer offerings will include six nights of Broadway caliber talent and a new Science After Dark series for curious adults.
The season officially kicks off on Saturday, May 17th, and we’re ready to soak up the sun and make some unforgettable memories! And, as always, the 80,000-square-foot Pier 57 public rooftop park will provide stunning views overlooking the lower Manhattan skyline for those who would like to just hangout and relax in the beautiful weather.
Noreen Doyle, President & CEO of the Hudson River Park Trust, stated:
Whether you spend the whole summer with us or are just visiting for a day, Hudson River Park’s stunning waterfront, iconic piers and endless events make every day an adventure. From dance parties and live music to hands-on science fun and heart-pumping fitness, this is where New York comes alive!
