Whether you’re looking to spruce up that IG feed, or simply love the perfume of florals, a field of lavender—may we add, perfect for frolicking—awaits just an hour from NYC at Happy Day Farm.
Their lavender garden officially opens for the season on June 8th, 2024. Visitors can enjoy a freshly squeezed lemonade and shaved ice while they spend the day roaming the aromatic field and picking their own lavender bundles. Of course, there are plenty of photo ops as well.
Admission to the lavender garden is $15/per person. Please note the farm is cash-only on-site. Picking your own lavender costs $8 per bundle.
Raspberries will also be ready for the picking starting June 8th, so don’t forget to grab some berries during your visit as well. Plus, come June 29th, blueberries will be season too! As for blackberry lovers, you’ll have to wait until late July.
Since it’s a farm, you may be wondering, ‘what about the animals?’ Well, goats and chickens will be on the property to feed. Although your pets are adorable, they are not permitted on the farm.
