Just months after the debut of Williamsburg waterfront’s first-ever ice rink, comes the announcement of a second, private outdoor ice rink along the East River.
Opening as the city’s first private outdoor ice rink and Brooklyn’s only elevated ice rink, residents and their guests at the 22-story luxury tower, One Williamsburg Wharf, will be privy to an uncrowded rink (hard to come by in NYC) and panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline.
The ice rink will be made out of Glice, the same synthetic ice used by NHL players, Redbull, Fairmont Hotels, BMW and more. In the summertime the rink will transform into a luxurious pool.
One Williamsburg Wharf is the first condominium of the 3.75-acre master-planned development, Williamsburg Wharf. Beyond the private ice rink and pool, residents will be able to enjoy a wide range of amenities including an indoor-outdoor fitness center, a state-of-the-art basketball court, a yoga and meditation room, game room, pet spa, and more.
