St. Patrick’s Day is nearly here and that means the return of the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which just so happens to be “the oldest and largest St. Patrick’s Day parade in the world” according to the parade’s website.
Dating all the way back to March 17, 1762, the celebration continues to bring together Irish New Yorkers from all over to celebrate the holiday…a tradition that dates back earlier than the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
Expect over 150,000 marchers in this year’s parade and another 2+ million spectating and celebrating around the route. We’ve put together a complete guide for the 2025 NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade ahead of time to answer all your questions.
