During these cold winter days, we’ve seen plenty of kindness in the community beginning with warm scarves that were left for those in need.
Now, restaurant Ali Baba has opened its doors to the homeless for warmth. Located on 46th Street and 2nd Avenue, they have left heat lamps on for the homeless to be able to sleep.
According to WPIX, two people slept under the lamps over the weekend when temperatures were well below freezing. Their doors will remain open to the homeless until winter is over.
