New York City is about to make a major leap in the local entertainment scene. 🎲
The very first legal casino featuring live dealer table games across the five boroughs is opening its doors next week.
Resorts World New York City in Queens is scheduled to debut its highly anticipated expanded gaming floor on Tuesday, April 28.
Pending a final round of testing by the New York Gaming Commission, this massive shift in the local landscape was exclusively reported this morning by the NY Post.
Locals will soon have a massive new gaming complex to explore right in their own backyard.

All about the historic Resorts World expansion
For over a decade, Resorts World has operated as a wildly popular slots parlor located right next to the Aqueduct Racetrack.
The property is now transforming into a full-fledged gaming and entertainment destination.
The freshly renovated third floor is set to house over 240 live table games, where visitors can expect classic staples like blackjack, craps, baccarat, and roulette alongside thousands of existing machines.
Robert DeSalvio, president of Genting Americas East, noted to CBS New York that the city has “never seen anything quite like the upcoming April 28 launch.”
The grand opening represents the culmination of more than 15 years of development work to bring a large scale resort experience directly to Queens.

Bringing thousands of jobs to the borough
Beyond the brand new entertainment options, the launch is delivering a massive economic boost to the community.
According to an official press release, the expansion alone created 1,250 new jobs, which includes roughly 950 dealer positions for the new floor.
The Queens facility already employs 2,200 team members and expects to push that number well past 2,700 by the time summer rolls around.
Next Tuesday will kick off with an official ribbon cutting ceremony featuring a few familiar faces.
Queens native and hip hop legend Nas is slated to join Genting Chairman KT Lim to toss the ceremonial first dice and celebrate the landmark occasion.
While other approved downstate locations like Metropolitan Park near Citi Field and Bally’s in the Bronx are not expected to open until 2030, Resorts World is officially giving New Yorkers an exclusive first look at the future of city entertainment.
