NYBG’s Luminous New Color-And-Light Experience Will Enchant NYers This Holiday Season

Illuminate your holiday season at The New York Botanical Garden’s new GLOW experience!

Everyone loves dazzling lights during the winter months, and now, the NYBG is putting together an outdoor, immersive experience that is sure to satisfy! They have created a “glowing world of color” that is centered around their famous landmark, the Haupt Conservatory. Incredible installations will appear in the gardens and Reflecting Pool.

The conservatory’s facade serves as a “glittering canvas” for the show’s light and color display. Beyond the enchanting outdoor scene, the experience will include live dancers and musicians and even ice sculptures!

Tickets will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10 but you can sign up for ticket alerts now. Tickets range from $10-$30. The experience goes on rain or shine so make sure to dress for appropriate weather conditions. Operating from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m., you can get your tickets for one of the following 14 dates as stated on their website:

November 27 & 28
December 5, 12, 18, 19, 26, 27, 28, 29, & 30
January 1, 2, & 9


Visitors can eat on the Hudson Garden Grill patio and at the Pine Tree Cafe with outdoor seating.

In order to follow social distancing guidelines, only a set amount will be let in every half-hour. Make sure to get your tickets in advance as walk-up tickets for the experience are not available. Those purchasing have the option to print or download their mobile ticket. Learn more here!
