The gourmet grocer was started by Sammy Nussdorf, a native New Yorker who left a career in venture capital during the pandemic to pursue his passions for flowers and food.
After honing his floral design skills in Los Angeles, Nussdorf returned to the city with a bold idea: merge his love of culinary craftsmanship, sustainable sourcing, and floral artistry under one roof.
Even before its doors officially opened, Meadow Lane was generating serious online chatter. Nussdorf began sharing sneak peeks of the space’s sun-drenched floral displays, gleaming Italian shelves, and rainbow-hued prepared foods, quickly turning the Tribeca market into a viral sensation.
And now shoppers can head over for themselves, as it’s open for all to enjoy! Visitors can expect treats for the wait, as the team will be serving special surprises, goodies, and some merch to those waiting in line outside.
