Fine dining Italian seafood restaurant Marea in Columbus Circle reopened for outdoor dining over the summer, and it wasn’t your typical tables-shoved-on-sidewalks situation. Instead, they commissioned NYC floral studio Floratorium and design firm Nusla to create a stunning floral canopy, and have been changing it throughout the seasons. Right now there is a bit more of a greenery set-up for the winter, but we expect more florals are about to bloom there soon (just see the summer and fall set-ups here)!

Where: 240 Central Park South

7. Pasta Louise, Park Slope

This neighborhood gathering spot offers simple but delicious Italian cuisine, especially (of course) pasta, served with made-from-scratch sauces and special additions like burrata, house made ricotta and crispy prosciutto. There’s also homemade ice cream with flavors that change daily! The floral design was inspired by the owner’s hometown of Oakland, CA.
