Each summer tons of people flock to the Hamptons to enjoy its gorgeous beaches, tasty restaurants, and endless shopping. And while some Hamptons restaurants are long time favorites, this summer is welcoming an influx of new spots popping up around the area. For everyone escaping NYC for a bit this summer to take a trip out east, here are some new restaurants in the Hamptons worth checking out.
1. Little Ruby’s Montauk
Australian cafe Ruby’s (which has three NYC locations) is bringing the most delicious menu items to the Hamptons this year. Breakfast classics highlight tasty dishes like Vegemite Toast, Ricotta Hotcakes, and a Passionfruit Granola Bowl, while later day menu items include Pesto Pasta, a selection of burgers, and a Crispy Rice Bowl. There are plenty of options for non-meat-eaters as well as an extensive cocktail menu as well.

2. O by Kissaki
Though Kissaki is not a complete stranger to the Hamptons, O by Kissaki is serving up a brand new Japanese-Italian fusion menu in East Hampton. Here you’ll find a blend of Japanese and Italian cuisine, commonly known in Japan as Itameshi, which translates simply into an Italian meal. Find dishes like spicy pink crab with chiles, a selection of Nigiri, and tomato burrata salad with tosazu.

3. Lobster Roll Lunch
Commonly referred to as “Lunch” due to their iconic outdoor sign featured in HBO’s The Affair, Lobster Roll Lunch just opened a brand new location in Southhampton. Alongside cold and hot versions of their beloved lobster roll, the menu also features items like seafood chili, fried clams, and, of course, crab cakes.

When: Sunday-Thursday 11:45a.m. – 9p.n. (closed Wednesdays), Friday-Saturday 11:45a.m. – 10p.m.
4. Fauna
This new American spot boasts animal-inspired decor and a delicious selection of dishes. Choose from appetizers like Roasted Red Pepper Gnudi and Mussels Vadouvan to bigger plates such as Long Island Duck Breast, Prime New York Strip, or Basil Seared Halibut. There’s also a delicious cocktail menu and a weekend brunch menu.

5. Crash Cantina
This bright, airy, and open-air Latin American restaurant is now open at the new Hampton Bays resort, the Inn Spot. Enjoy gorgeous and sweeping water views will enjoying dishes such as Smoked Mushroom Carnitas, Crispy Local Fish with corn and daikon slaw, and Apple Cider Smoked Chicken with mole verde. A selection of cocktails are also available to compliment your dish.
