The month of April has been dedicated to grilled cheese, and Murray’s Cheese knows exactly how to celebrate such a month.
National Grilled Cheese Day has been set for Friday, April 12, and Murray’s will be offering various cheesy creations leading up to the big day. Each day you can stop into the Murray’s Cheese flagship store on Bleecker Street for a unique grilled cheese sandwich at their Melts counter. No two days will be the same, so be sure you take a look at what’s on their menu before stopping in.
While the daily melts will cost anywhere from $6.99 to $9.99, it’s all leading up to the special day Friday. On April 12, everyone is invited to stop by the Melts counter for a signature Murray’s Melt made with their secret blend of cheeses for only $1.12! The shop will begin serving these delicious grilled cheeses at 8 a.m. (cheesy “breakfast,” perhaps?) and will continue to whip up quality, oozy melts until 4:30 p.m.

Pawlett, date syrup, apple butter, and bacon
April 4 – The Croque Monsieur $8.99
Gruyere, mornay (cheese) sauce, Applewood smoked ham, and Dijon mustard
April 5 – The New York Crunch $8.99
Emmentaler, pastrami, dill pickle potato chips, and chipotle aioli
April 6 – The I’ll Brie Back $8.99
Double crème brie, pickled red onions, smoked turkey, and basil pesto
April 7 – The Loads of Cloves $8.99
Mozzarella, fontina, garlic spread, pepperoni, and roasted tomatoes
April 8 – The Hammy Sammy $8.99
Swiss cheese, smoked turkey, ham, maple syrup, and a fried egg
April 9 – The Sante Fe Turkey $7.99
Smoked Gouda, smoked turkey, peppadews, spinach, and chipotle aioli
April 10 – The Cubano $8.99
