Contemporary ice cream parlor Morgenstern’s is launching a new soft-serve concept, and it will make you go bananas.
“BANANAS” is a collection that reimagines classic ice cream flavors in the form of experimental non-dairy soft-serve. Despite its name, the collection will rotate amongst eight different flavors and feature an assortment of fun toppings and boba.
“Inspired by the tradition of American soft-serve, Morgenstern’s BANANAS takes a fun, silly, and deliciously sweet approach to this beloved dessert, serving up the spirit of experimentation and creativity with each bite.” said the team at Morgenstern’s.
Flavors will include classics such as a “Super Choc” chocolate and “Mucho” mango, but in the signature style of Morgenstern’s, customers can expect new eccentric variations such as green tea pineapple dream, salted sesame caramel, prickly pear, coconut vanilla, and even more.
Morgernstern’s is famously dedicated to creating ice cream that is free of additives, processed stabilizing ingredients, and preservatives. According to the team, they will tackle on the difficulty of creating a delicious soft-serve with “skilled and precise technique, top-notch machinery, and quality ingredients.”
“Soft-serve is a historically challenging dessert to make well, and the team develops special formulations to ensure the consistent integrity of each product,” said the team. “Each recipe is created with flavor at the forefront, from the use of specially formulated bases like coconut and sushi rice to complement the taste and texture of each offering.”
