There’s never a dull moment at JFK’s TWA Hotel, with their year-round heated pool, vintage L-1649A plane-turned-cocktail lounge, and most recently, a pickleball court.
And this winter, the fun only continues. New to the tarmac this year is an exciting curling rink.
In case of any weather disruptions to holiday travel, at least you’ll have something to keep you entertained rather than waiting at your gate!
Similar to Bryant Park’s cozy curling café, you and your friends can enjoy the fun sport and have a fabulous bonspiel (jargon for a curling tournament).
Let your strength from carrying all your holiday shopping bags help you expertly glide your stones. Never played before? That’s no problem! You’ll be sure to pick it up quickly.
It’s the perfect winter weekend activity (weather permitting). Plus, it’s entirely free!
The rink is open on a first come, first served basis. Reservations are not available. All equipment will be provided so just come ready to score and knock out your competitors.

The impressive airport hotel was first established in the spring of 2019. Beyond its aforementioned amenities, the hotel has the Paris Café by Jean-Georges, the TWA shop, and a fitness center.
